THE BEGINNINGS...
They say Hai-Lo (ไฮโล) began when farmers, after long days in the fields, gathered by lantern light and tipped three dice into a wooden bowl.
The game was simple, a wager on high or low, yet in the hush between rattles many believed the dice carried more than numbers. Fortune, fate, even the whispers of ancestors were thought to sway their fall.
Though the law pushed it into back rooms and village corners, Hai-Lo endured, becoming a quiet ritual of chance and community. Some still call it gambling, others call it tradition, but all agree the dice have a way of deciding more than men ever could.
Join us for lunch, order from our a la carte menu and ask to play "hai-lo" when the bill arrives. One person in your party rolls three die, score an 11 and your bill is free (up to groups of ten)!
